ABOUT DASC (DARTMOUTH ADULT SERVICES CENTRE)

LaughAbility! is a fundraiser for DASC featuring comedians with disabilities. Proceeds support programs for persons with intellectual disabilities.

 

Dartmouth Adult Services Centre (DASC) has been serving the Dartmouth community for nearly 60 years. DASC is a not-for-profit business and social enterprise which supports adults with intellectual disabilities, dual diagnosis, and/or fragile health and complex needs. We serve nearly 200 people annually through a diverse range of services including community employment, vocational, skills development, life enhancement, active lifestyles, recreation and leisure, and youth programs.

 

Revenue generated through our social enterprise (the rental of our modern boardrooms, production of buttons, or business contracts such as labelling, assembly, mailing, and packaging) helps us host our services for persons with intellectual disabilities.​​
