Featured by Forbes and seen on Canada’s Got Talent, he’s performed comedy and delivered talks across three continents for audiences at Google, Meta, and Tesla.

Meet our emcee

Emma Convey is a journalist passionate about community connection and purposeful storytelling. Originally from Barrie, Ontario, she graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies before moving to Nova Scotia to work in broadcast television. Emma quickly became invested in the people and issues that matter most. She has covered meaningful stories focused on local places, health, homelessness, and amplifying the voices of diverse groups, including individuals with intellectual or physical differences. A former speech competitor, Emma brings clarity, confidence, and empathy to every story she tells. In her free time, she enjoys exploring her new home—taking in sports, discovering new cafés, and uncovering hidden gems across the province.
